The Coalition of West Little Rock Neighborhoods is an organization of Neighborhood Associations (NAs) and Property Owners Associations (POAs) adjacent to the Highway 10 scenic corridor.  This Coalition has been formed to:

1)      Ensure Smart Growth of West Little Rock.

2)      Facilitate communication among and between neighborhood group members regarding issues pertaining to our areas of residence.

3)      Guarantee effective representation at applicable Planning Commission meetings, City Board Meetings, and Town Meetings.

4)      Prevent further re-zoning of Highway 10 property that increases the density of development along this scenic by-way.

5)      Safeguard our homes and neighborhoods by insisting on adequate police and fire protection to cover the westward expansion of the City of Little Rock.

The Coalition of West Little Rock Neighborhoods will meet on the second Monday of each month at 7:00 pm at the Winfield United Methodist Church.

The Coalition of West Little Rock Neighborhoods has as its officers:

President, acts as Spokesperson for the Coalition; helps oversee, manage, and organize all aspects of the Coalition, including handling logistics, executing strategies, sending out meeting notices and flyers, and liaising with other coalition representatives in the city; will post minutes of the Coalition meetings to the web site.

Vice President, also acts as Spokesperson for the Coalition; monitors the City Web Site on a weekly basis and contacts the President regarding issues relevant to the Coalition; assists with sending out emails and flyers to neighborhood reps.

The Coalition of West Little Rock Neighborhoods will handle issues through community participation and public campaigns agreed upon in strategy sessions held each month by Coalition members.  All individuals living in membership neighborhoods are invited to attend these monthly sessions.
